All Additive Fabrication Systems have some type of support structure that is created when building parts. The support structures get removed in the following manner (depending on technology):
Broken away
Dissolved away
Melted away
Water Jetted away
Blown away
Additive Fabrication: A collection of technologies, directly driven by 3D CAD data, to produce a 3-Dimensional physical part by adding layers onto each other.
We'll explore the following Additive Fabrication Systems:
From these Manufacturers:
Did you know?
EnvisionTec Perfactory works just like an SLA machine - only upside down.
Z Builder Ultra is manufactured by EnvisionTec.
EnvisionTec and EOS are made in Germany.
EOS SL Systems and 3D Systems SLS Systems produce very similar parts.
Multi-Jet, Polyjet, DLP and SLA all use resins to produce parts.
Stratasys raw materials look like your weed whip.
(We'll match the support structures to the technologies at the Seminar)
Fun facts you won't find anywhere but here and more at the Seminar ....
