Direct Digital Manufacturing with Tekpro Rapid Prototyping Equipment allows you to go from concept to finished part in a matter of hours using real world thermoplastic materials.
These materials allow you to manufacture real parts that are tough enough for functional testing, installation, and most importantly end use. Real production thermoplastics are stable and have no appreciable warpage, shrinkage, or moisture absorption.
Because thermoplastics are environmentally stable, part accuracy (or tolerance) doesnt change with ambient conditions or time.

Using Tekpro Direct Digital Manufacturing, customer designed, manufactured, assembled, dyno tested and installed a custom air filter enclosure for a high performance vehicle in less than a week.
Because of modifications to the engine and limitations of space, the air filter enclosure and ducting needed to be custom built to fit. Traditional manufacturing would have been too costly, and deadlines would not have been met. By manufacturing using Tekpro Rapid Prototype Equipment, the enclosure and ducting was able to be produced and installed in the vehicle within budget and within the timeline specified by the customer. Real world thermoplastics withstand the heat and vibrations needed in this harsh environment.
At date of this publication, customer has driven the vehicle for over 40,000 miles using the custom air filter enclosure and ducting.
Using Tekpro Direct Digital Manufacturing the Fire Department created thermoplastic case for custom manufactured communications device.
Firefighters battling blazes in remote mountain areas needed a reliable method of communicating. No commercial solution existed, so the fire department developed a device capable of reliably communicating regardless of the area topology.
Producing only 100 devices, traditional injection molding of the case proved to be too costly and time consuming.
